Claire's palette consisted of deep, true colors: clean, intense, uncompromising, velvety, rich, inspiring. The rooms were all large, with high ceilings and handsome trim. The space and personality of the client and her family could handle these colors! The red of the living room was the most difficult to choose and we tried 8 different samples. In the end, I tinted it to get it just right, and added a pale green trim. The foyer and stairwell became a deep cadmium yellow. the guest room turned a fabulous deep orange-red, the master bedroom a midnight blue, the kids' room a cobalt, the office a burgundy, the study a lime green. It truly is stunning, maybe not for everyone, but it works here absolutely.
